21-year-old woman arrested in husband’s stabbing death in Machakos

A man in Matuu township, Machakos County, was stabbed to death by his 21-year-old wife during an escalating domestic dispute.

According to neighbours who witnessed the incident, the suspect stabbed her husband after claiming she was disappointed by him.

According to reports, the 23-year-old man was stabbed on the left side of his chest and died immediately.

The 21-year-old woman, who is being treated as a murder suspect, stabbed herself using the same knife.

She was bleeding and was taken to Matuu level four hospital, treated, and escorted to Matuu police station where she is currently held.

The body of the deceased has been removed to Matuu level four mortuary awaiting autopsy.
