The superstar, who signed as a free agent this summer after leaving Paris Saint-Germain after a spectacular seven-year tenure, latched onto an inch-perfect cutback from Jude Bellingham and fired coolly into the top corner.
His goal in the 68th minute doubled his new team’s advantage after Federico Valverde’s opener, securing his first trophy with Madrid and capping off a fantastic performance.
Mbappe made his first competitive start for the LaLiga giants just weeks after completing his move to the Bernabeu, having recently joined his teammates in training.
